Queen of bicorns. Abarma made a pact with the Lord of Cyclicity and was bestowed by a real body. She then led most of her clan to the Stream, where neither the Devourers nor the disappearance of the Flat would threaten her. Unlike her, her subjects were asomatous, so they lost their minds and turned into ordinary animals, trustfully following their Queen wherever she went.

Together with the herd, Abarma settled in the vicinity of modern Nouri. Fulfilling the terms of her deal with Hunger, she would offer gifts to mortals by killing and skinning her subjects and gifting their skins to the chosen ones. The skins had one unique feature: they turned their wearer into a taur.

Gradually, a cult of Tanners formed around Abarma and elevated skinning into a sacred act. For many centuries, they have been abducting and killing random travelers in order to use their skin in tailoring clothes or making idols.

Everyone who has ever met Abarma describes her as a sad, lost maiden one wants to protect and cheer up. But, in reality, she has no need for either — the joy has long left her, and her hands move with merciless precision as she skins her next follower.
