</aside>

Fallen keeper of one of the nomes of El-Balyama and a former guardian of law and justice.

Her symbol is a giant centipede — a venomous insect still used by police to catch fugitives.

With the Nomes having taken Nazifa’s place, the elbalyamians stopped worshipping her. Abandoned and forgotten, the vengeful goddess became an embodiment of revenge upon dishonest mortals.

They say she still reigns in an abandoned temple of one of the remote villages and punishes anyone smelling of lies, envy, or dark thoughts.

Nazifa existed in reality and, judging by numerous cave paintings and clay figurines of the Furugata era, she really did have a long neck, similar to the body of a centipede. The correspondence between her and other historical figures shows that they did not view her as a goddess. She was called a cruel judge, devoid of compassion, and hungry for other people's happiness. They urged her to calm down her bloodthirst and threatened to downgrade her from gerenals.

So Nazifa was quite mortal, but no explanation was found for her strange appearance. It is obvious that contemporary people took this for granted.
