Parban hair tends to be curly to varying degrees, from wavy locks to thick curls. Light strands, sharply contrasting against the main hair color, are common among Eastern Latori residents, while Parba from the west often have hair tips that lighten or darken as they grow.

For Parba, beauty marks on the cheeks or near the nose are most common, sometimes accompanied by symmetrical dots under the eyes. The tips of the ears may be marked with dark or light colors.
All the markings shown in the examples can combine together in one coloration.
Among Parba colorations, there is one that is sometimes referred to as marble. In old Parban, it is called "vayahō," meaning "cloudy," and is associated by Latori with a mythical cloud serpent that brings good luck. In this coloration, certain strands or tips of hair are also dyed in a color different from the base color.
